Dear Valued Customer,

It is with very heavy hearts we have decided to close our restaurants in Calgary and Canmore until further notice. With the rapidly changing situation in our community and the rising risks of COVID-19 we have decided that it is in the best interest of our staff and customers to temporarily stop operations.
Many thanks for all your support and business over the years and we look forward to serving you all again in the near future.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the families effected by the spread of this virus.

Be safe and take care everyone!
Fique seguro e tome cuidado todos!

Dear Valued Customer,

For over 15 years the health and safety of our customers, co-workers and communities has been a top priority for us at Gaucho Brazilian Barbecue and continues during this current global difficulty. We are monitoring the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) reports and recommendations from the World Health Organization, Alberta Health and the Chief Medical Officer of Canada.

As such we have taken steps to reconsider, renew and reinforce our health and safety procedures at both of our locations. An example of increased measures include:

• Added sanitizer stations at host stands, bar and food preparation areas, replenishing and refreshing sanitary solutions every 1/2 an hour
• Frequent and routine wiping down of high touch surfaces including menus and changing of service utensils on our side tables
• Providing gloves for customers to use when at the self-serve side tables
• Serving our barbecue selections to guests from service carts
• Increased monitoring of our side table to ensure offerings are fresh and surfaces are sanitized
• Offer guests plated salads and sides at our guests request
• Removing tables to increase personal space

In addition, we have asked our co-workers to stay home if experiencing flu-like symptoms and to follow the advice of healthcare providers and self-quarantine for 14 days if returning from out of country.

We continue to value and appreciate your support of our business and would like to send our thoughts and prayers to all those families affected by the spread of this virus.

Best regards,
Ede and Rosina Rodrigues
